Princeton Soccer Association Copryright 2013 05/24/2013 05/24/2013 www.princetonsoccer.org News from Princeton Soccer Association Message to the Community 05/17/2013 07:47 PM http://www.princetonsoccer.org/home/720399.html  The Princeton Soccer Association is aware of a serious issue involving Mr. Jorge Roman, who this past year was the coach of two of PSA’s Premier Travel teams.  Upon learning of the allegations concerning Mr. Roman, PSA immediately terminated his employment.  Nothing is more important to PSA than providing children with a positive and safe soccer experience and to that end, PSA has many child protection policies in place.  We will be cooperating fully with all authorities in any investigation related to this matter.

PSA Travel & Premier Team Tryouts 2012/2013 

 

PSA travel and premier, boys and girls, teams will be formed from U7 through U18 age groups for the 2013/14 season.

U7 - U10 Travel teams will compete in the MNJYSA League & EFSL 5v5 League

U7 - U10 Premier teams will compete in the MAPS League & EFSL 5v5 League

U11 - U14 Travel teams will compete in the MNJYSA League

U11 - U14 Premier teams will compete in the MAPS, EDP or Region 1 Leagues 

U15 - U18 Travel teams will compete in the MNJYSA League

U15 - U18 Premier teams will compete in the MAPS, EDP or Region 1 Leagues

At Princeton Soccer Association we remain committed to providing a full set of leading soccer programs that include recreational, travel and premier. All of our soccer programs have made good progress in the last 24 months. For our Premier Orange teams this progress will result in moving to a higher league for 2013/2014. 

Our Premier Orange U12-U18 Boys teams will now play in US Club Soccer’s National Premier League (NPL). NPL is the top tier of soccer for both boys and girls. The division was created as a national developmental platform for the highest level of competition.  It’s goal is to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape based upon fundamental principles set out within the US Club Soccer’s 10-year vision. 

 

John Newman, PSA Director of Coaching, stated, "We want the best development opportunities for our players and are delighted our Premier Orange boys teams will now play in the highest national league. The NPL and NY Club Soccer League give our those teams stronger competition, improved player development and increased recognition for college recruitment. In addition each team will have the opportunity to qualify for the NPL National Cup competing with the top teams in America."
