Princeton Soccer Association (PSA), based in Princeton, New Jersey, was established in 1975 as a town club to introduce soccer to players all over Mercer County.

In 2009, John Newman and Ollie Hilliker were hired by the PSA Board of Directors for the specific purpose of providing the finest soccer experience available at all levels utilizing professional coaches within an enjoyable, friendly and challenging environment. Within 12 months the club achieved its first accolade a USL U20 Women’s National Championship.

Since then, PSA teams have gone on to win 4 National Championships, 3 Regional Championships and 14 State Cups.

PSA is one of the few clubs that always leverages full-time professional coaching staff at all levels, starting as early as 3 years old in our Recreational Development Center. The coaches are all professionally qualified and include some of the sport’s highest coaching qualifications - NSCAA Master Coach, USSF A License.

PSA’s curriculum for all players are specifically designed to address the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the player. Delivered by our elite coaching staff, the PSA players receive the highest level of soccer education.

It’s Recreational Development Center introduces players to a team and playing environment to help the development of young players excel. A 1 hour per week technical training session is combined with a small-sided in house festival. This structure leads the players into the next stage of their development in the U6 and U7 Academy teams.

Teams aged U6 and above receive technical training sessions at least twice per week and compete in leagues such as Mid New Jersey Soccer League, Eastern Development Program (EDP) and EDP Futures League.

In 2016, with the success of PSA Princeton, PSA expanded its geographical reach by creating PSA Central, who were located in the Woodbridge area, and in 2017, PSA North, located in Fort Lee were added to the roster. These teams were all coached by our full time professional staff and competed in the local EDP league.

In 2017, PSA Central, PSA Princeton and PSA North combined with NJ Wildcats to create a national team that would practice once a week and compete in the NJYS State Cup, USYS Regionals and USYS National events. This merger saw a national team stacked with a combination of elite players from all locations and the result was 4 State Cup finals with 3 Championship winning teams advancing to USYS Regional Finals.

With the success of the PSA National team program, for the 2018/19 season and beyond, NJ Wildcats have become a full time Princeton regional location, combining with PSA Central to form PSA Wildcats. 2018/19 season will also see the merger of PSA North and SDFC to create PSA SDFC in Northern NJ.

The mergers of both the NJ Wildcats and SDFC into PSA expands outreach of the club's resources, directors, coaches, facilities and competition to provide the best service possible for our to each and every player.
