Development League & Futbol Fun
PSA Princeton are always looking for new ideas to improve our already highly successful programs. After a great Fall season we are excited to announce that the Development League and Futbol Fun will be back in the Spring with extended places.
At PSA our Development Center has an excellent history on promoting children into our U6/U7 Academy leading onto travel, premier and premier elite teams. The following diagram shows the PSA structure and outline of progression, that shows a clear pathway from recreational level to possible College recruitment for our players.
Being in a team environment & playing competitive soccer helps the development of young players skyrocket. Our U7 academy players currently play in competitive 5v5 festivals in the EDP Futures League.
We are using the same structure for our Development League by playing competitive Soccer every Saturday.
Players will receive 1 hour per week of technical training by our full time professional PSA coaches.
Our curriculum addresses the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of a child. This exciting soccer program teaches basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills and teamwork allowing young players to learn soccer in a fun but structured environment. The development of motor-skills, creativity and ball manipulation are essential ingredients for any young soccer player.
U6-U8 YOUTH ACADEMY
Futbol Fun is designed to enhance the soccer player’s basic technical skills that are used in the game of soccer. Throughout this curriculum it will provide a physical, social and intellectual environment to ensure that the player has a structured and fun-filled learning experience.
