Jesse Aporta has over a decade of experience coaching various levels of youth sports.  As an assistant coach in the West Orange Boys Program he was a part of the staff for both the 2013 State Sectional and Group IV State Championship and the 2015 State Sectional Championship seasons.  Since joining the PSA/SDFC family for the 2016/2017 season Jesse has served as the head coach for both the 2009 and 2003 teams and takes great pride in watching his players develop and grow.  


Jesse has dual Master’s Degrees, one from Concordia University Irvine in Coaching and Athletic Administration and the other in Sports Leadership from Concordia University Chicago.  Currently he is working toward his Doctoral degree in Sports Leadership through Concordia University Chicago and is on track to complete his studies by 2020. Jesse has his NSCAA National Diploma and has obtained his USSF ‘D’ License.


Philosophically speaking, Jesse believes in fostering a positive player-centered environment in which players will use the game of soccer to learn life-long lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, ethical behavior, perseverance, commitment, loyalty, self-discipline, healthy living, responsibility, and leadership skills.
